Team will focus in one school in Vizianagaram District, India instead of the 10 schools which were the initial target.
A) Fieldwork update
BNT is trying to get the permissions from the government officers in order to be able to work at the school
+ Vizianagaram District was declared "open defecation free state", use this!!
- Officers are not too committed to make this happen
There are toilets at the school, but non-functioning (locked) as the school doesn't have the resources to keep them working and clean.
1- Collect stories from people supporting the project in the area BNT
2- Collect data in presentation to show project impact & support from international organisations to gov officers BNT
B) Choosing a toilet design

- Two (boys/girls)
- Dry system (no water available in the area)
3- Select a design BNT/Nay/Philip
4- Document why this option and not other BNT/Nay/Philip
5- Document what this option will demand from the community (maintenance? frequency, costs?), during the whole life cycle (what do you do with waste?) BNT/Nay/Philip
Team will start a crowdfunding campaign.
6- Adjust budget to the chosen design Philip
7- Design the crowdfunding campaign: which will be the rewards in each case, how long will it be active, when are you launching it Philip
